Ian Kerr
Managing DirectorAfter a police career predominantly spent in the Criminal Investigation Department, with additional service in the Serious Crime Squad and an award for “Most Meritorious Student in Scotland in Forensic Science”, Ian Kerr founded ID Inquiries in 1990 and ID Cyber Solutions in 2015. Focusing on the needs of the customer is at the core of Ian’s business philosophy. He achieves this by employing top-quality staff to guarantee the integrity of his business and matches this by using robust process-driven systems. One of his fundamental beliefs is that ‘you should only recruit people better than you and the best the company can afford,’ with the next being ‘Consumer is Boss’!
Ian is a serial networker, achieving this through being a Board Member and former Director of the Entrepreneurial Exchange, and is known for his ability to ‘put people together.’ He believes firmly in giving back to the community, providing mentoring through the Exchange. He is also a former Chairman of the Scottish Campaign at The Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
Ian’s interests include golf, photography, and reading.
Cary Hendricks
Global Operations DirectorCary Hendricks is a highly accomplished security technical investigator, advisor, and trainer with over 20 years’ broad experience working with government agencies throughout the world. His specialties include lawful interception, security analysis and strategy, network and security architecture, intelligence management and analysis, systems administration, and engineering. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker, qualified Computer Forensic Investigator, and a Certified Instructor for both.
Cary is a regular speaker at security events, mostly at closed events to law enforcement and other agencies.
Keven Anderson
Business ManagerKeven Anderson is originally from Perth, Australia and moved to the UK in 2009 to start a new life. After completing his electrical trade studies he moved quickly into management, working alongside many large companies and government departments. He gained vast experience in managing people in the electrical, air conditioning, and electronic security industries, as well as in the IT, retail, and entertainment industries.
After moving to the UK, Keven’s experience was recognised by a well-known retail chain, where he became part of the management team. In 2016, ID Cyber Solutions welcomed him to the team as Business Manager.
Keven is an accomplished musician, and can be found most weekends playing with bands around Scotland.
